Destination Outer Banks

Greetings from OBX! Driving the “Beach Road” with the sea-salty air rushing through the car windows is like taking a step back in time and brings back so many memories! I wish I had the time to explore all of the 130+ miles of the barrier island chain. There’s so much to experience between the sandy beaches, crashing waves, historic villages, lighthouses, and natural beauty! By the way, the wild horses are still roaming Corolla. Today, I visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills and ventured to Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head. Tomorrow I’m headed to Cape Hatteras to explore the National Seashore and Bodie Island Lighthouse before heading to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which I hope to climb! The sunsets are just as stunning as I remember! I’ll see you soon, maybe!
